A Surprising Ending
The resurrection of Jesus defied the expectations of his closest followers. And those defied expectations are in themselves evidence that the historical testimony is true. The disciples didn’t make up the resurrection of Jesus. Far from it, the disciples, including the lead disciple Peter, they never expected it to happen.
