God the Father sent his Son, the priceless gift, the perfect sacrifice, his life broken and poured out, so we might receive forgiveness for our sins and eternal life with God for ever in heaven. The woman’s gift is a beautiful foreshadowing of the gospel, and the gift of God that is Jesus.
