If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, you are one of the living dead. At least that’s the way the Apostle Paul sees it in his NT letter to the churches in Galatia. In chapter 2 of the book of Galatians, Paul is explaining the gospel message of salvation in Jesus when he writes: I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. That’s Paul bringing together these two ideas that a follower of Jesus is dead in Christ and alive in Christ, both at the same time.
