In the Divided Kingdom period you have one line of kings that rule the northern Kingdom, then called Israel, and you have one line of kings in the south, called Judah. With only a few exceptions, all the kings that ruled both kingdoms were lousy kings, forsaking the LORD and oppressing their own people. Yet Hezekiah was one of those exceptions to the kings of Judah, the southern kingdom, a bright light in an otherwise dark time.
