God wants you to be saved and know it. True Assurance a growing awareness of and confidence in my salvation. The Lord wants you to know that if you have put your trust in Jesus, if you a have turned from sin to Jesus, trusting in Him alone for your salvation, then you are saved. And Jesus will save you. You are forgiven and you have eternal life; so your future in heaven is sure. You are adopted by God the Father, and you know God is your Father, because the Holy Spirit is communicating to you that you are God’s child. You know it to be true personally, internally. It’s more than a promise you read in God’s book, it’s also the Holy Spirit inside of you. You can have a certainty about your salvation that comes from the Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit is at work inside of you, in a way that should be evident for yourself and others to see. Your life shows that you are saved.
