The work of salvation was accomplished in a moment in history when Jesus died, an atoning sacrifice for sin on the cross. Jesus did the work for our salvation on the cross, and now daily new persons are being saved by Jesus, putting their trust in that saving work of Jesus, so they are being born again.
At our Christian conversion Jesus saved us, and now Jesus is saving us, growing us into Christlikeness, and keeping us saved. And in the future, upon his return. Jesus will finally and completely save us; Jesus will save us.
