Lesson from the Text:
- Choosing faith over fear and doubt is a moment by moment decision. Continue to choose faith. “I’m trusting the Lord.”
- The importance of my public confession:
- It can strengthen my faith.
- It can encourage others who are afraid and struggling with doubt.
- It can bring glory to God.
- It’s never too late!
- The lie - God can’t do anything it’s too late, don’t trouble Him.
- The truth - God may call me to trust Him in seemingly desperate circumstances before doing a great work in my life. I will trust Him and not be afraid. God’s delay in my life can bring God’s glory.
Who, O God, is like you? Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up. Psalm 71:20
