Two Lies to Reject

1. We are clean apart from Christ.

The Truth: Apart from Christ we are not clean. We, who are unclean, love to cry out, “I’m clean; I’m clean enough; I’m cleaner than that other person; or I’ll clean myself.

What we should do is cry out to the Lord, “I’m dirty Lord.” “Lord, please clean me!”

2. We are unclean and beyond help.

The Truth: You can’t become so dirty that the Lord can’t clean you.
