Interested in our upcoming Fall 2010-2011 Women's Precept Upon Precept Bible Study?
Please read below a note from our very own Leeta regarding all the details:
Hello friends! Here’s info about Precept this year – our first night together will be Sept 16th! This year in class we’re going back to the “book of beginnings,” Genesis. Here are the details we know so far:
• Sept to Dec 2010: Genesis Part I, The Creation. We’ll compare Genesis 1 – 2 with scientific accounts so you can know for yourself what you believe and why you believe it. Cost of the workbook will be $15-20. We will make one order from Precept on 8/26 – just respond to this email to reserve a workbook in your name. Friends are welcome – just let us know!
• Jan to May 2011: Genesis Part II, The Fall, The Flood and the Nations. Genesis 3 – 11 covers the beginning of marriage, sin, God’s judgment and His plan of salvation. This is great stuff! And it’s a good reminder that we’re still living in the middle of the story – what God has started, He will finish! Cost of the workbook will be $25-30.
Pastor Gordy is coordinating two Precept workshops – led by national trainers – at the PCC office on Oct 29th (How to Study Old Testament History & Prophecy) and 30th (Training to Be a Precept Leader). Lastly, there’s still time to fill out our short survey from May, which you can finnd here – your input can still make an impact on our coming year.
